The fourth meeting of Random presents an AudioVisual performance based on the concept -Industrial//Nature- and it has been realized by RNDM.
More of the material that will be showed and played is the result of two years of experimentation with sound and image.
The first element is a mixture of sound design and processing of field recording made in Sicily and Berlin area.
The visual side of this project follows the idea of “Live Cinema”, RNDM will attempt to narrate with image his idea about the theme, all the film shooting of -Industrial//Nature- had been recorded in Sicily, a land in which the contrast of the two elements is more visible while considering the mostly rural landscapes still present in this island. The abandoned industrial ruins presents on the area create a sort of undisclosed reality upon these objects.
No one talks about it, no one protests for it. They are just monoliths of a decadent knowledge telling us in the cruelest way how we have been so blind for years..
This time Random04 will be hosted by the atelier -EX L&G-, the address is Donaustr.115, Neukölln.
The event is programmed at 29 November, from 17.00 to 20.00.
It is free entry but donations are welcome as ever.
ARTISTS INFO
RNDM is the new project behind Concrete Cosmos, his creator comes from Sicily(south Italy) and is involved into electronic music and video art . The music focuses on ambient, drone composition reworked together with use of field recording during live performances.Actually he´s also developing a personal way to create breakcore, noise related rhythms. As visual artist he uses abstract editing techniques upon his shooting of environment both urban and natural.
RNDM is almost born in summer 2013 with participation at Camp Tipsy Festival(Labor Sonor stage) in south Berlin and collaborations with artists from Kunst Baracken project and related friends(Small but Hard Rec., Anbu, Bocca al Lupo, Vanessa Puschmann, Dr. Kaya, Dirk Herre, Wilfried Paysse´. Giacomo della Maria).
Wilfried Paysse´ : Artist from South France, born in 1984, living and working in Berlin. He will show a new drawing work during this visual performance. It is starting from a simple content : Berlin, wlthaupttrümmerstatt.
